What keeps us in bounds

Controls

Three rules govern what we stock, what we may not stock, and how the money is recorded.

Menu

Health standards

Everything on the shelf is checked against the school-healthy menu before we order it. We lead with low-sugar and zero-sugar lines.

Stock

No overlap with the canteen

We do not stock anything the school canteen sells. We run alongside it as a student-operated service, never in competition with it.

Money

Every sale on the record

All takings go through Square. There is no cash drawer and no untracked sale, so the books can be checked at any time.

What we give

$600

$50 a month  ×  12 months  ·  school-approved charities

The point of a social enterprise is that trading pays for something beyond itself. This is the floor we hold ourselves to, not a share of whatever happens to be left over.
